Do you have a studio? Are you a full time photographer?

Yes. I have a studio in Rochester NY  and I work as a photographer full time.

Do you specialize?

Yes. I mainly shoot commerical, architectural, portraits, weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs and other events. 

Is there a main photographer for Park Avenue Photo?

Yes, the main photographer for Park Avenue Photo is Gene Avallone.

Camera gear?

I use top of the line Canon gear. I am a firm believer that having the right tools for the trade helps create better images. 

Do you use special effects processing or Photoshop actions?

I don’t use “special” post processing effects, however I do enhance and color correct every image manually.

Color or Black and White?

Most of the images I deliver are in color. Most photo labs can make a great black and white print from a color file, but they cannot make a color print from a black and white file.

How do we get our proofs?

Clients will be able to login here at HERE to view their proofs when ready.

How soon will our photos be done?

About 4-8 weeks. It usually takes me 3 weeks to edit all of the wedding photos and upload the images to my proofing site and then another couple of weeks for the proof book to be printed. Need your photos sooner? Rush orders are available.

Do we get a high resolution DVD?

Yes, I deliver edited and original unedited files as a high resolution DVD with every wedding. All of the edited images on the DVD have been carefully cropped, color corrected and are ready to print. Photos on the DVD can be printed at the lab of your choice. 

Do you travel?

We photograph in and around the Rochester NY area within a 100 mile radius.

Do you book weddings on a first come first serve basis? 

 Yes we do book weddings on a first come first serve basis. 

Can we move our booking to another date?

No problem, but only if we still have an opening on your new date. Please try to inform us early so we can leave the date open for others.

Can we use the finished photos on social networking sites, like Facebook?

Yes. These are your photos. Share them with the world! We only ask that you give Park Avenue Photo credit whenever you post the photos.

How do you conduct yourself at weddings? What is your approach?

I try and be as unobtrusive as possible at weddings. I keep my interaction with the bride and groom to a minimum. The only time I usually give directions is during the formals.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes. I take American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
