Gene Avallone of Park Avenue Photo was interested in photography at a very young age, owning his first camara when he was 15. He went on to earn his BFA in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, well known as one of the nation's premier universities in the photographic arts and sciences. After college he worked as a district photo technical specialist at Eastman Kodak and Noritsu America Corporation. In 1985, he opened Park Avenue Photo and started shooting portraits and later expanded his business to include weddings, events, corporate and aerial photography. He resides in Rochester NY with his wife and two daughters.
